Today we celebrate our Lord Jesus. To the One, whose throne is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of His kingdom. He is the heir of all things, He is the One whom also made the worlds, He is the brightness of the glory of God, the express image of His person, The One whom purgeth our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; the Son of God! We are reminded today of the Word of God upon our lives…… Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise Ye the Lord! (Ps. 150:6). In this season of thanksgiving and in the opening of the celebration of our Savior’s coming, let us who are called as the pastors and ministers of the Church, not only teach the giving of thanks, but practice the same.
