Full Gospel Assemblies is a church fellowship with congregations and ministries throughout the United States and the world. We are a fellowship of believers who have experienced a transformation by the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are committed to proclaiming the gospel of Christ, as we share His love with one another.

In addition to the church fellowship, educational opportunities are available through Full Gospel Bible Institute. The institute offers training for those that are called to ministry, as well as Ministerial services for the licensing and ordination of ministers and pastors. Newly forming ministries, established Churches, and parachurch ministries are welcome to inquire about development and ministry affiliation procedures.

Our History

The roots of Full Gospel Assemblies may be traced to 1947 with the founding of the Full Gospel Church of Coatesville, Pennsylvania. As an Assemblies of God congregation, the Full Gospel Church of Coatesville was active in the education and evangelization of the community. Under the direction of Dr. Charles E. Strauser, pastor of Full Gospel Church, the Full Gospel Bible Institute was opened in 1962. In 1969, Full Gospel Assemblies was formed as an independent ministry.The fellowship was formed to provide coordination support for the ministers and students of the Full Gospel Church ministries.

In the years following, Full Gospel Assemblies International emerged in response to the growing worldwide body of Full Gospel congregations and parachurch ministries.

Retaining its original doctrine and faith, Full Gospel Assemblies is Trinitarian, believing that the Bible is the inspired Word of God; that salvation and the gifts of God are available to all mankind; that the church is the divine body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointment for the fulfillment of the great commission; and in the return of Christ, the blessed hope of the Church.

The body of Full Gospel Assemblies is an evangelical missionary fellowship sponsoring ministry at home and abroad, composed of autonomous parachurch ministries and church congregations. Congregations, parachurch ministries, students, and clergy are active throughout the United States and over 20 countries throughout the world.
