FGA-Malawi Prepares to Open Second PST Campus

For the FGA-Malawi church at Matindi, it was a sad day when the church building was destroyed in the 2019 cyclone.  It was a storm that brought heavy winds, flooding and widespread devastation, affecting over 2 million people across Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi.

As this building sat in ruins, the prayers of God’s people were being raised up for the provisions for a complete rebuilding.  The vision was that this rural location would someday be utilized for a combined purpose for a local congregation and a PST study center for the training of pastors and leadership for the Malawian rural communities.

Rejoicing in the Miracle

It was then in late April, that the Lord spoke to the leadership team of Dayna’s iCare Foundation (DIF) out of Pennsylvania to contribute for the building of a FG church (by DIF) and a Malawian school site for pastoral training on behalf of the late Dr. Webster Fitzgerald, uncle to Minister Dayna Spence, and an educator himself.

Connecting with Full Gospel Assemblies central office, Dayna Spence, president of DIF, and team, were made aware of this on going prayer for the Matindi location.  The leading of the Holy Spirit for this need was a true miracle and right on time!  Within two weeks, the site grounds were cleared and new construction begun. DIF will be supporting the building of the church / school building and the home for the new pastor.  Photos of the ‘in progress’ work show the enthusiasm to have this project completed and open for use for the training of Pastors and Church leaders in the coming term.   To God be all the glory!

Will You Help To Now Furnish This School and Church?

In addition to being utilized as a venue for congregational worship, this site will jointly serve as the Phrear School of Theology Matindi Campus, dedicated for training Pastors and leadership, accessible from the rural areas outside of the city of Blantyre.  The building site sits at the front of a humble rural community, easily accessible from the surfaced road.   It will be fully utilized as a strategic center for Full Gospel Assemblies – Malawi.  What is now needed for the opening of this church and school site is interior finishing, grounds, some 40 chairs, tables, white boards, and various student needs for an anticipated 30+ pastoral candidate students beginning fall 2020.    Will you prayerfully consider joining in, in making this miracle a full reality for this coming term?  Please contact FG / PST central offices for more information on how you can be a blessing for the generations to come.

FG Ministry Opens NY Prayer Center

Amidst the epicenter of the US COVID-19 outbreak, God makes available the opening of a new FG prayer center ministry.   Waves of Glory director, Pastor Mary Ellen Gordon reports that the long-awaited ‘Healing Prayer and Conference Center’ has secured the facilities in Suite 640 of the aptly-named Gateway Building located at 3556 Lakeshore Road in Blasdell, NY.

Pastor Gordon writes, “It has been over ten years since the Lord spoke to me about opening a center here in Western NY, where He said ‘ones would come from the North, South, East and West, and enter in with all manner of sickness and disease and leave completely well’. This prayer center is an expansion of the ‘Here Comes a Miracle’ radio ministry that has been airing for five years now on station WDOE”. Future plans are to include Miracle Explosions conferences in the Gateway Auditorium.

As of May 11, the Waves of Glory Healing Prayer Center is ready to open its doors as soon as NY-state-wide COVID restrictions have been lifted. In this season of waiting, Pastor Mary Ellen encourages the Body to come together in doing two things:

#1 – Stand on (and claim) every promise God makes in His Word to be with you; to help you and to bless you beginning with Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

#2 – Look for every opportunity to sow during this time of famine.  Ask God to show you creative ways to sow seeds into your family, neighbors, friends, your Church and the Ministries you love and appreciate. Pastor Gordon writes, ‘Your words are seeds. Prayers are seeds. Thoughts are seeds. Good deeds and personal gestures of love are seeds. Your time, talents and resources are precious seeds that God can use to bless others… and advance His Kingdom. If you look at this pandemic in our world today, the natural thing to do is to hold back, sit back, and just play it safe. We need to focus on the fact that the worst of times can be one of the best times to obediently sow every seed God has given you’.
