FG-Malawian leadership joined pastors and church workers together this past April 30th at the FG Matindi Center under the banner of Unity in the Body of Christ. Bishop Thomas Mapira writes, “We highly praise our Almighty God for the incredible seminar we had. With much respect, we are here also to recognize the great work of FGA-USA, and the provisions given so that this seminar could be conducted. God bless you abundantly”.
16 Churches Join FG – Malawi – 11 Baptized – 19 Students Registered
Seminar teachers on this day included Bishop Charles Mapira and Pastor Phiri. Pastors and church leadership attending were greatly blessed and inspired with the Word of God that was taught. Full Gospel – Malawi church leadership introduced the fellowship to all visiting pastors, making available the opportunity to prayerfully consider joining together to advance the kingdom of Christ Jesus. “As a result of this we had 16 churches joining FGA – Malawi as registered members”, reports Bishop Mapira.
In keeping with the overriding mission of providing an educational program for a strong foundation in the Word of God for all pastors and church leadership, Pastor MacMillan (PST / IMI Student Services – Malawi) provided a presentation of the ongoing ministry of education through PST / International Maranatha Institute in Malawi. Looking ahead to the upcoming 22-23 school year, 19 attendees registered for ministry training. To God be the glory!

Just prior to the opening of the seminar on the 30th, as worship services began, both with incoming church leadership and local attendees from the Matindi area, 11 new converts who made a decision to follow our Lord Jesus were baptized. In accordance with Acts 2:38, those receiving Christ as were offered baptism as they declared Him as Lord before family, friends and the congregation.

The ‘Leadership Seminar’ served to be much more than teachings and instructional classes for pastors and leadership, but also a day gathering for the whole family. Many in attendance had just come fresh from a time of Resurrection Sunday community worship within the Chilomoni area. Truly the Spirit of the Lord was present in the midst of the gatherings.
Bishop Thomas expresses, “Many things are taking place here, FGA-Malawi is reaching many people with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with the teaching of His word”.
