Romans 10:17 says, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
This past April, The New York Times published an analysis study of internet usage showing that this 2020 pandemic has greatly increased the need for more people, young and adults, to use online platforms for work, entertainment, social connections and education. The Church has also been challenged to gravitate to the social media environment during this time.
Many churches have shifted to online meetings, using Zoom, Facebook and Google to continue sharing the Word of God. Now that some church services or activities have returned to in-person gatherings, many will need to continue with their online services in order to reach the wider online audience, whose hearts have opened to God in this season of uncertainty. The online platform for the Church will certainly continue well into the future.
