Full Gospel Assemblies Launches ‘Church Unite’

Full Gospel pastors, ministers and church support staff from the Tri-State area came together at two regional breakfast summits held October 27th and November 10th for a time of fellowship and sharing. The first summit was held in Bentleyville, PA while the second was held in Gap, PA.

At each summit, participants gathered for a time of fellowship, prayer and the introduction of the Church Unite initiative. Chairman Simeon Strauser also offered a first-hand glimpse into the most recent accomplished Malawi 2018 FG mission, complete with photos, video and testimony of what the Lord is doing among the FG congregations there in the southern portion of Africa.

‘Church Unite’, which will be launched across the Full Gospel Assemblies fellowship beginning in 2019, will challenge all FG pastors, clergy, congregations and church support ministries to unite for the work of the Lord throughout the United States and into the vast regions of the world served by the fellowship.

Exhorting from Ephesians 4:15-16, Pastor Simeon spoke on the responsibilities of the body of Christ one to another. He explained that while the FG congregations, ministries and clergy at large are widely involved in the work of the Kingdom, the ‘Church Unite’ initiative is a call for the whole of Full Gospel Assemblies to come together as one people with the purpose of enlarging the tent to which God is calling the church fellowship to. In support of this call, the key areas of Prayer, Sowing and Building have been set as the banner for all to unite under in support of the work of the ministry throughout the expanse of Full Gospel Assemblies.

A stirring of heart was witnessed throughout the participants as it was seen how Church Unite will serve as a strengthening of the Full Gospel body. The vision is that the program will bring support to the clergy, a building up of the Church, its individual parts and the whole, and that with the growth of the initiative, a vast opportunity of domestic and mission opportunities for ministry service and development will be realized for the FG congregations, clergy, and the laity to become engaged in.

Watch for the coming months to bring a full implementation of the Church Unite initiative, all for the glory of the Lord God Almighty!
