When the events of the day often lead the pastor and the ministers of the church into the many directions and avenues that are presented with ministry responsibility, the Word of God gently calls His own to be reminded that the   focus is to be on Him and Him alone!   A grand agenda, in a grand arena, with all the grand participation makes for a grand event. However without all pointing to the lifting up the grand light of our Lord Jesus, we are as the sounding of empty cymbals.

Of Jesus, be reminded, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart, that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9. Fellow pastors and ministers in the work of the Lord, may it be your sole purpose this holy season, to lead the weak and fallen before the Lord in sincere confession. For in this confession of faith before our almighty God, we place our full trust in Christ, we receive His coming to do the will of his Father, his life, his death and resurrection for our justification, his salvation and his healing. We receive Jesus, the Son of God.

In the example of the Apostle Paul, set aside, exchange the drive for excellency of speech or wisdom, for the straight forward declaration of testimony of our Almighty God. Go forth in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power.  Speak the wisdom of God.  Give Jesus and him crucified!
