The Full Gospel Assemblies regional leadership summit held May 19-20 at the Monroe Center Community Church, Monroe Center, IL, culminated with the laying on of hands and anointing service for Pastors Brian Alexander and Aaron Ainley. Presiding over the summit and anointing service was FG Chairman Simeon Strauser (Photo: far right), joined by Pastor Reginald Licht of WI (FG Council) and MCCC lead pastor, Robert Mellon (Photo: stage center).
Receiving clergy ordination was Pastor Brian Alexander (Photo: Center with his wife Jean). Pastor Brian, along with Jean, began serving in ministry under the direction of Pastor Robert Mellon in the year of 2010. Having received his ministerial licensure recognition, Brian further accepted the ministry appointment of Executive Pastor with MCCC in June 2011. Pastor Brian has faithfully served the Monroe Center congregation over his tenure, leading in all facets of church ministry and community evangelism. Pastor Mellon testifies, “I have witnessed first hand (Brian’s) ministry ethic, love for the Lord and lost souls, his spiritual gifts, and his calling (of God)”.
In the year of 2018, Pastor Aaron Ainley (Photo: left with his wife Christina) accepted the role of youth leader with MCCC. As such, he was challenged with overseeing the grades 6-12 youth ministry and their weekly services. Understanding the call of God upon His life, and now having his wife Christina alongside of him in ministry, they each began to be further groomed in the work of the Lord, with their service touching throughout the many ministries of the church. In October of the same year, Aaron was charged with the ministry as Youth Director, leading the full ministry of Children’s Church. As MCCC has continued to expand in their service to young families of the community from near and far, the children’s church in particular has witnessed a consistent healthy growth. As this ministry influx has occurred, Aaron has accepted the full calling of God, receiving his ministerial licensure, and now serving as Youth Pastor for Monroe Center Community Church under the mentorship of Pastor Robert Mellon.
