From the office of the Chairman:
Greetings to you today,
I write today in the same spirit as is expressed in the Word of God from Ephesians 6. There we are exhorted to put on the whole armor of God, and as we do, we are to be praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.
Today as I testify of the wondrous works and protecting hand of our Lord God, it is also at this time that we have a heavy heart for our brothers and sisters of Puerto Rico. As each of you know, Pastora Marissa and I, along with our team of Pastors Juan & Mayra Feliciano and Pastor Ed Popovich, were to leave on this week for mission into Puerto Rico. With the storm Maria approaching there yesterday, as you might imagine, on Tuesday our flights were cancelled. The entire team of 7 to be going in and participating with the mission for Full Gospel Assemblies were held back here in the mainland. While we give thanks to the Lord for providing for smooth transitions in all the work that we needed to do relative to the cancellations, we also go to prayer for our ministry partners which we were scheduled to be with. Due to the total power outage there today, we have not been able to make contact. Please join with us in prayer for the entire congregation of Iglesia Cristiana Transformados and Pastors Robert Irizarry and Maria Quintero. May God be with them in this hour of need.
Sincerely,
Pastor Simeon Strauser
Chairman, Full Gospel Assemblies
